What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, assist with access and loss prevention support, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support store operations during opening, closing, and busy shopping periods by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with crowd management, de-escalation, and/or directional guidance as needed.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
