As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Monitoring in Grandville, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property concerns, maintenance issues, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, lost-and-found inquiries, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
