Security Officer - Patrol Detail

As a Security Officer - Patrol Detail in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe for unusual activity, document findings, and communicate clearly with site teams while delivering a strong customer service experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, docks, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, directing deliveries, and documenting contractor and/or vendor activity per site policy.
• Complete detailed reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate shift updates to the next officer and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a guard card and/or license preferred.
• Possess pepper spray certification preferred, which may be completed post hire.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
