As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Lenoir, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will help promote a secure environment through a visible presence and security-related awareness while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative culture built on teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including the perimeter, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and trailer yards, with attention to unusual activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries, helping to support access control processes and following site protocols for credentials, packages, and/or vehicle traffic.
• Assist with security-related reporting, note-taking, and communication regarding operational issues, policy concerns, and/or emergency situations that may arise during a shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
