Our Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas at a busy government transportation location, helping to support a secure environment for travelers, staff, and visitors. In this unarmed patrol role, you will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, roadways, and perimeter access points to help identify security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and access points, verifying authorized entry and challenging unauthorized activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Support daily operations at a government transportation location by communicating with site contacts, assisting with directional questions, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or suspicious activity observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
