Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions in accordance with site policies, assisting with visitor processing and directing people to the appropriate location.
• Support order at the location by observing for policy violations, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related issues, then reporting conditions through established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1 years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
