What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points; verify authorization as directed; and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and activity logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents promptly, and assist emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
