As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public transit location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for passengers, employees, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $24.31 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, passengers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrols, and daily activities accurately in required reports while maintaining a professional presence in a public transportation environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
