Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation, working as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and government location policies.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity at the location to help support authorized entry, document routine and unusual events, and report conditions that may require attention.
• Assist with emergency response activities, follow post orders, and complete required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
