Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government transit location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $25.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity in accordance with site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit platforms, public areas, parking locations, buildings, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contact.
• Support a professional presence at a government transportation location by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and/or communicating clearly with local personnel and the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
