As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support loss-prevention efforts. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and report security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail location personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, common areas, entrances, loading zones, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
