Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and credential checkpoints to help to deter unauthorized access, verify identification, and document visitor and vendor activity according to location policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, reporting maintenance or access concerns, and assisting with traffic, delivery, and/or vehicle access procedures at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
