You will greet visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor alarms and cameras, answer phones, and document incidents with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific policies, completing required check-in processes, and directing individuals to appropriate areas within the facility.
• Operate the front desk access control process, including verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and coordinating with onsite contacts for approvals.
• Monitor security-related systems and communications from the reception area, report unusual activity, and document events in written logs and/or incident reports per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with onsite personnel, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Support the daily operation of a utilities location by answering phones, managing deliveries, handling lost and found inquiries, and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence and policy enforcement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
