As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

9:00PM-5:00AM / 5:00AM-1:00PM / 1:00PM-9:00PM Shifts Available - Up to 24 Hours Per Week, Weekends Included in Schedule

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial construction location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries in accordance with established site requirements.
• Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, contractor documentation, and incident reports using site-provided systems and procedures.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, construction areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to identify and report unauthorized activity, hazards, or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
