As a Security Officer - Parking Lot Patrol in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, report concerns, and provide customer-focused assistance. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions that may impact operations or property.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas such as lobbies, vestibules, and corridors and exterior areas such as parking lots and perimeter doors, as permitted by site policy.
• Monitor access points and customer areas for unusual activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and support orderly traffic flow during peak hours and special situations.
• Complete security-related reports and activity logs, communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or dispatch, and document incidents according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
