Security Officer – Parking Garage

As a Security Officer – Parking Garage in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations at a parking lot location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter potential incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activities or hazards, communicating information promptly to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Work closely with the public to address questions and provide assistance, maintaining a professional presence at the location.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or actions taken in required reports according to site-specific standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
