As a Security Officer - Overnight Pharmaceutical Company Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as an unarmed officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report security-related issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to site contacts.
• Support site operations by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and assisting with directions, escorts, and other customer service needs as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
