Our Security Officers at a leading financial institution location monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, entrances, lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor premises and observe day-to-day operations for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues, and document observations in required reports.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with directions, communicating with site contacts, and following post orders during critical situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
