As a Security Officer Outdoor Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including the lobby, offices, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee movement, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Support opening and closing activities as assigned, remain visible throughout the location, and communicate clearly with site contacts, coworkers, and/or first responders during incidents or emergencies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
