As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, observe and report conditions, and support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, tenant concerns, disturbances, medical events, and/or maintenance-related issues, and notify the appropriate contacts as required.
• Monitor entrances, cameras, and alarm panels as assigned, complete routine checks of doors and gates, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or property issues through the established reporting process.
• Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal supervision, property management, and/or local responders when escalation is needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
