Security Officer - Multiple Sites - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Multiple Sites - Full Time in Asheville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned manufacturing and industrial locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, supporting a secure environment, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the location as directed by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
