As a Security Officer - Morning Residential Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols and support a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and property grounds for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or maintenance-related concerns, and report issues to the appropriate contacts.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and resident service needs while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
