As a Security Officer - Morning Pharmaceutical Facility Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.58 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry as directed by site policies, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily operations at a commercial property by assisting with tenant inquiries, observing building activity, and completing routine reports related to patrols, incidents, and/or client requests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
