As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential apartment location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, maintenance-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the apartment location, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, amenity areas, and/or residential common spaces, report unusual activity, and communicate relevant updates to property management and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
