As a Security Officer - Media Facility Unarmed Patrol in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech and media environment, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a strong visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and communication while supporting access control and alarm response. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized individuals and/or activities.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and general inquiries while adhering to access control procedures.
• Document all incidents, observations, and patrols in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site staff to support security-related operations and promote a positive environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
