Security Officer - Manufacturing Facility Patrol

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Facility Patrol in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, supporting access control, and delivering outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe for irregular conditions or suspicious activity and report findings according to established guidelines.
• Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support emergency response efforts and communicate with Allied Universal management and client contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
