As an Access Control Security Professional at an aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points by checking credentials, screening visitors, issuing badges, and documenting activity using a computer and/or tablet. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine rounds near controlled areas, and communicate clearly with employees and guests to help support a secure workplace. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby checkpoints by issuing and collecting badges, managing visitor logs, and assisting with screening requirements as directed by site policy.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building entrances, restricted corridors, and the perimeter, while monitoring for unusual activity and reporting concerns.
• Complete required reports and documentation such as incident reports, access logs, and shift activity summaries, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
