In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following posted instructions, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report observations according to location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor, driver, and/or vendor activity as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders regarding security-related matters as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
