Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Rounds

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Rounds in Van Buren Township, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a busy logistics and distribution location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone onsite. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the location, and support a positive environment guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order within the logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related needs and support operational continuity.
• Document all activities, incidents, and observations clearly and accurately in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• X ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
