Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Driver in Bethpage, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a logistics and distribution location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately when emergencies arise.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents and emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
