As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Gate in La Habra, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with personnel and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit at the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues.
• Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
