Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific policies, front desk procedures, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor access at the front desk by greeting arrivals, verifying identification and credentials, managing visitor logs, and communicating with site contacts regarding authorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Answer phones, provide directions, receive deliveries, and support administrative and security-related reporting functions at the front desk within a utilities location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by maintaining an attentive presence, observing lobby activity, and reporting concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
