Security Officer - Hospital Overnight Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Gainesville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will interact with patients, visitors, and staff while delivering outstanding customer service and communication through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control and directing individuals according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor for security-related concerns such as trespassing, disorderly conduct, and/or unsecured access points, and report observations and incidents in a timely manner.
• Support a professional environment by communicating with hospital personnel, visitors, and/or first responders while following post orders and documenting security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Required hospital vaccines are required.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
