Security Officer - Hospital Mobile Driver

As a Security Officer - Hospital Mobile Driver in Palm Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and requesting additional support when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor CCTV and/or alarm systems when assigned, document observations, and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns through the proper channels.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate clearly with onsite personnel and emergency services, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Vaccines are required for this hospital post.
• This post is located in a hospital morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
