What You'll Do
- Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff, manage access at the reception area, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive screening and visitor processing.
- Respond to incidents, calls for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
- Monitor lobby activity, phones, alarms, cameras, and visitor logs, and document security-related events, incidents, and unusual activity according to site procedures.
- Support a professional front desk presence by answering questions, providing directions, and communicating clearly with staff, patients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
