Security Officer Hospital Afternoons

As a Security Officer Patrol in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with onsite personnel and following post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help support authorized entry, visitor management, and compliance with applicable site procedures.
• Document routine activities, incidents, and/or unusual observations, and report concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
