As a Security Officer Security Console Coordinator in Cherry Hill, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a front desk location within an educational environment.
• Monitor visitor access at the front desk, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and assist with directing students, staff, faculty, and guests according to location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Answer phones, manage inquiries, and support front desk operations by maintaining accurate logs, reports, and/or other required documentation related to security-related activity.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk and following post orders and location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
