As a Security Officer - Hardware Store in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach while contributing to a reliable and professional environment.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter zones, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic patterns, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or hazard observations, and relay important information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
