As a Security Officer Gated Community in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by managing access, verifying visitors, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a professional presence, and use communication and technology skills to support residents and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents and guests while providing directions, answering routine questions, and escalating access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
