As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help manage site entry and exits, verify credentials, check vehicles and deliveries, and maintain detailed access logs. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with employees, contractors, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and access control requirements at an industrial location.
• Control entry and exit at designated gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing and collecting temporary credentials, managing visitor logs, and directing traffic flow as needed.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and equipment entering and/or leaving the location in accordance with posted instructions and site policies, reporting irregularities through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and complete required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
