As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Duncan, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
