As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist travelers, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.08 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in an airport environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations and coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, public spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting suspicious behavior, unattended items, and policy violations.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
