As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at an industrial construction location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of active work areas, building perimeters, access points, parking areas, and material storage locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting emergency services or management when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, hazards, and security-related observations in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
