Security Officer Full Time Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Bartow, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
• Support emergency and evacuation procedures, assist with access control and restricted area monitoring, and provide clear information to employees and/or visitors during changing site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
