Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, assist visitors, and conduct routine patrols while maintaining a visible, professional presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property personnel while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor building access points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access records in accordance with location requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to the appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Monitor surveillance and access control systems, report suspicious activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including common areas, entrances, exits, and the perimeter, and document security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
