As a Security Officer - Full Time - Afternoons in Sterling, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, loitering, and/or disruptions by monitoring assigned areas, verifying access permissions when appropriate, and following site protocols.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports and support Allied Universal team members and location personnel during routine operations and special situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
