As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry while delivering outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily activities, incidents, and access-control needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
