Security Officer - Front Desk Operations

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Operations in Camden, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will serve as the first point of contact at the location, welcoming visitors and assisting with access control. You will help to deter security-related incidents by remaining attentive and providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location and verify identification of individuals entering or exiting as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk when appropriate.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
