Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge in Dayton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting guests and assisting employees while helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and professionalism. Your role involves providing outstanding customer service, clear communication, and upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity in a dynamic, people-first environment.

What You'll Do:

• Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner and check identification as required by site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting with general inquiries at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the building and help to deter unauthorized entry through observation and adherence to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs and/or records of visitor and employee entry and exit, as well as any security-related incidents.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters.
• Follow emergency response procedures as outlined in site-specific policies, providing guidance to occupants when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
