As a Security Officer Patrol in Lake Placid, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier athletic training location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and athletes. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $26.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, athletes, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout training, lodging, office, and exterior areas to identify and report security-related concerns, unusual activity, and maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for visitors, vendors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs while communicating professionally with site representatives, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
